My name is Bill Doner and I own Heritage Leather. Heritage Leather is a spin off of Heritage Fashions set up by my first wife (Jeri) and me after I joined with North-South Skirmish Association.  We started the buiness in the early 70,s when I becames a member of the 149th NYVI. and shot in compition for 20 years.  After her death from cancer I reorganized the buiness into Heritage Leather.  I moved to North Carolina after remarrying and got involved in the re-enactment commnuity.

I looked around to see what was being made and found that most everyone was selling the same thhing. I decided to just make leather items and did much research and collecting all the information that I could find. I started to make items that either have not been made before or have not been made for quite some time.

I also started to collect and make the larges British equipment both for the Civil War period and any British re-enactment groups.

Heritage Leather focuses on the leather items but carry buckles and other items that are avaiable.
